Lisa Karlin is a career advisor in the Career Services office at Fort Hays State University. One of her primary roles is the coordination of internships – building partnerships with employers and helping students identify opportunities. She has been in this position for four years, but her career at FHSU has spanned three decades in various roles, including alumni relations, event planning and communications, equal opportunity, and university relations and marketing. Lisa currently serves as the vice president of membership for the Western Kansas Human Resource Management Association and has served on the board of directors for several community organizations. She is a member of NACE and KACE and was involved in the planning of past KACE summer drive-in conferences. Lisa has a BBA degree in Marketing from FHSU and is working on a master’s degree with a concentration in Corporate Communication.
